The Ink to my Button

A button without its ink
is like a singer
without its soul
like an artist
without its mind's eye
like a lover
without its passion.

For if you add a button
to its ever-longing ink,
you’ll get something
so unique
so fascinating
so extraordinary
you might fall in love yourself.

So dive in
into this mysterious ink
Take a bite
a bite out of this singers soul
Dare to
to imagine the impossible
And turn innocent love
into a full bloom, powerful passion

And who knows,
you just might find something you’ll

Enjoy.

Okay, so I just got a card from one of my classmates who found my DA account, and my heart can't take this right now. I'll write her words for you here: "Hey Emily,   Here is when Facebook is actually productive... I saw your link to your DA site, and was totally immersed! So dark and so joyous - like with the "Ham Biscuit" and "Three Little Pigs". It really made my day. :) Plus, it gave my body a energy boost (I am studying - couldn't fall asleep after that) THANKS FOR YOUR WRITING!   I hope you continue on and on and on and on... and despite my chaotic ramblings, set the power of words onto the world! Originality and passion is reall

because I've been going to college. For a while I lost myself, I wasn't sure what I wanted. But I know now; I want my work published. I don't care where it's published, as long as people read it, and get a reaction out of it. I want to make people smile, laugh, cry, feel for my work. At my college, they try to make you "world ready women." Ready to take on the business world, be a CEO or the cure for cancer. I don't want any of that. I want to travel, live, be happy, and write. That's all. If that's all I get, I would honestly be completely fulfilled. Thank you all who have been keeping up with my writing, you have NO IDEA how much that mea

As you guys may have noticed, I've been kind of away from DA for maaaybe.. 2 years almost? Maybe posting a piece every so often? In any case, I should probably tell you what I've been up to. Well, first and for most, I graduated from high school in 2012 WOOOOOOOOO!!!!! And now I'm going to college at a university in Pennsylvania. Wait, what? You moved? Yeah, sadly I did, but I'm still keeping in close contact with everyone so it's fine ^^ I've talken up English and Creative Writing at this university and it's been very rewarding so far I should say. And now I should be writing and posting a lot more than usual. Maybe keep you guys

Happy Lughnasadh. I'm on time with this one!👻
SORRY I'm so late! How was you Litha? What did you do?
Why Wiccan? ( fell free not to answer this sorry if it is to Personal) I tried to be ( religion is confusing) but I realized that I just like the idea if a female higher power.
My apologies for the delayed reply, I've been terribly busy. Wiccan doesn't necessarily mean a female higher power. In fact, it doesn't even have to mean a higher power at all. Wiccan, to me, is more of a spiritual thing. It's about nature and the Earth and about bringing yourself up to a higher spiritual state. Working your spirit both intelligently and emotionally, instilling discipline in your energy and learning control. I love it because it gives me power and confidence, while at the same time feeling connected. If you were to choose to take a more religious side of it, you would be Pagan, meaning you believe in multiple gods and goddesses and choose to worship one in particular or more. Really there are no strict rules about it and no one can tell you what you're doing is wrong. That's the wonderful thing about it. Of course there are a few rules that must apply for your safety and the safety of others, but besides that it's completely up to you what you choose to believe and what you don't. ^^
Thank the goddess that I did not offend you😊.you are the only Pearson that gave me a Straight answer. Every one Else just called my ignorant
and told me to scram.
I apologize for assuming that because you are Wiccan you have to bleive in Pan and the Goddess.PS happy Yule ( Wiccan holiday ). jK Mary Christmas😄
Well to be honest it does seem like there is a lot you still need to learn. And you should never resort to the Internet when it comes to learning about wicca and magick, because there are so many false and misleading sources that it's so difficult to shift through all the bull shit information. So, if I were you, I'd find myself a teacher. I, myself, have had about 3 to 4 different teachers throughout the 6+ years that I've been a practicing wiccan, which is good. It's good to have a plethora of different types of sources so you get a more wellrounded set of knowledge.
So this is my advice to you my friend ^^
Blessed be. ^^
